Proviron renews its ISO 9001:2015 certificate
For the 8th time in a row Proviron has renewed its ISO 9001:2015 certificate. The ISO 9001 standard is a guarantee for an effective quality management system in an organisation. By documenting, monitoring and improving all processes, continuous quality in production and service can be guaranteed. This is exactly what we stand for at PROVIRON.
ISO 9001:2015 - supports the UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Program
By achieving the ISO 9001:2015 certificate, Proviron also contributes to the realisation of the Sustainable Development Goals for 2030. The SDG Program is an ambitious 15-year plan of the United Nations to address some of the world’s most pressing issues.
The ISO 9001:2015 standard specifically focuses on 4 goals of this SDG program. More information about the goals can be found on the website of the International Organization for Standardization.
The 9th goal of the UN SDG program focuses on industry, innovation and infrastructure. Obtaining the ISO certificate shows that Proviron contributes to sustainable industrialisation and innovation.
In addition, it is generally known that we at Proviron have a penchant for the niche market of aquaculture. Our ‘micro-algae’ research team develops innovative cultivation processes that contribute to a more sustainable life under water. This fits in perfectly with the 14th goal of the United Nations SDG program.
