DE-ICER<\/strong><\/p><p>Cryotech NAAC\u00ae is a high performance solid de-icer for airport runways, taxiways and aprons.<br \/>It is a 97% anhydrous sodium acetate withless than 1% inhibitors by weight.<br \/>Cryotech NAAC\u00ae contains no chlorides, has excellent melting properties, works faster than urea and sodium<br \/>chloride, is active at low temperatures (-18C\u00b0) and requires less material to achieve similar effectiveness.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-3392\" aria-expanded=\"false\">applications  and usage<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-3392\" anti-icer and de-icer. Suggested application rates can be found in the below table. One must however consider factors like surface material, surface structure, ambient temperature and the quantity and quality of the ice pack.<br \/>Careful monitoring of the weather conditions as well as consulting records of past events will provide you with a lead on upcoming bad weather and guide you in preventive application of the product.<\/p><p><span class=\"fontstyle0\"><strong>Pre-wetting<\/strong><br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle1\">NAAC<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle1\">\u00ae <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">is most effective as a de-icer when pre-wet at the spreader spinner with a liquid de-icer (<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">Cryotech <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle1\">E36<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle1\">\u00ae<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">, <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle3\">Provi<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">frost<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">\u00ae <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle1\">KA ECO <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">or <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle3\">Prov<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">ifrost<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">\u00ae <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle1\">KF ECO<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">). Begin at 10% liquid de-icer by weight <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle1\">NAAC<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle1\">\u00ae <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">and adjust for local conditions.<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"fontstyle0\"><br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\"><strong>Anti-icing<\/strong><br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">Apply just as the storm event begins. With a small amount of precipitation on the surface \u2013 freezing rain, ice or snow &#8211; <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle1\">NAAC<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle1\">\u00ae <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">will activate and keep ice bonds from forming at the surface. This anti-icing strategy is an effective addition to liquid anti-icing during freezing rain conditions.<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"fontstyle0\"><br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\"><strong>De-icing<\/strong><br \/><\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">Our advice is to treat the surface mechanically before applying <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle1\">NAAC<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle1\">\u00ae<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">. <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle1\">NAAC<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle1\">\u00ae <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">may be used in conjunction with a liquid de-icer to solve serious pack conditions. First apply <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle1\">NAAC<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle1\">\u00ae <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">to the pack. After holes are punched in the pack, apply the liquid de-icer. The liquid then has a path to the surface and\u00a0 quickly breaks the pack prior to further mechanical removal.<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"fontstyle0\"><br \/>The table below must be looked at as a guideline and not as a recommended dosage. Packaged product should be kept indoors in a dry environment, in its original packaging until use.
